K27/6 MAF chips
I think that I'm going with the k27/6 upgrade since it's relatively inexpensive. I will also be getting a Vitesse MAF and 55# injectors. What do I need to do as far as the chips are concerned? I know that I can tune the fuel with the piggyback, but can Vitesse make a chip for the k27?
Thanks,
Josh

Obviously the Vitesse chips are the way to go, but from what I have been hearing, john doesn't do K27/6... I have a set of maf chips on ebay, and they have an FQS setting for 55 pd injectors... Take a look, maybe its something you can try. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MESE:IT

Only you know if you have a k27/6. You didn't get it from Vitesse. Vitesse doesn't sell them. John said that his maf/software can support a K27/6 turbo if need be. That is done through providing a specific chip set up for the clients exact specifications.

That's the conspiracy....very few people know that every turbo John sells is actually a K27/6.......
Disclaimer: This is a joke. Just because John can support a piece of hardware does not mean he sold it to you...

Sorry......misread Johns original message!!
Thought he said his software did not support the K27/6.
It was late.....my mistake!
Silverbullet.....If I had it to do over again, I'd
for go the K27/6, save your pennies and buy a
complete kit(turbo/MAF/chip board) from VR.

John's kit is not a K27.
He did a custom chip for my setup - K27-6, AFM, no Cat, modded WG.... It ran smoother/better than factory out of the box. Around 250 RWHP at only 13 psi. Now I run abt 17.5 psi but haven't dyno'd it yet. Very nice budget setup, IMO. MAF, injectors, piggyback are next...
