Help with Idle. (Not Hunting or Stumbling)
On time when I drive the car, it idles at 850, next stop light it idles at 700, next one it idles at 1000. It isn't hunting or stumbling (unless it decides to idle at 600) I've checked for clicks from the TPS and adjusted the Idle but it just keeps doing this. I never know what it's going to idle at and its been doing this for awhile. I was getting 14-16 Hg of vac at idle but after installing Zeitronix and Vitesse MAF, I'm only pulling 12-13 butr don't really think its a vac leak since it was doing it even at the higher vac reading.
Any thoughts?

Have you tried to properly set your idle? Good write up: http://www.lindseyracing.com/Merchan...ode=TECHGARAGE
Also, any idea of the condition of your idle stabilizer? BTW, neither adding the WB or MAF should cause your Vaccuum pressure to drop. I would double check for v-leaks.

I set the idle before but like I said, didn't help. I think the pressure drop comes from a small leak somewhere in the line I added for the WB boost sensor. I tapped into the line I ran previously for my manual boost guage. How do you check the ICS? I have done the venturi delete and I haven't had the intake off lately. I'll do a search for ICS.

I'm sorry, that is the idle stabilizer. Check it and if it is dirty clean it with brake cleaner.if it looks clean and every thing looks ok, than the idle stabilizer may be your problem. replace it. sometimes they would stick in a position.
