The MAFs sold by the vendors (Vitesse, Lindsey, etc) include everything necessary. Is your car stock right now? If it is, you won't need to do any additional tuning. Install the MAF and chips and drive.

The car is already chipped (guru). I also have a boost enhancer and a fuel pressure regulator. I think that perhaps a new wastegate would help, but I think I should probably just wait and do then when/if I do exhaust. I am just very leary of doing the MAF by myself, if at al.

What are the downsides of going MAF?

Have you ever put your car on a dyno? If not, it's a good idea to see what's going on before you decide to modify anything else. Get a look at how much power you getting, what the AFR is doing, how the boost is behaving, etc.
