Isn't the factory wastegate valve 46mm, or soemthing along those lines?
TonyG explained to me about the 46mm, which is why i have one now.

I too used to think that a 38mm would be sufficient, until I visited the largest turbo shop in the pacific northwest, where it was expained to me in terms that I cannot correctly recall, that the 46mm is indeed a better wastegate for all intents and purposes.
