We only use restrictors in the Ball Bearing turbos as that's what The Garret Ball bearing Turbos require. most anything else. NON restricted. Works great. Turbonetics turbos, From my experience, are bad with with pooling of oil in the turbo and bearing failure. they've been known to help the customer and warranty their product every once and a while.

I sent Tim an e-mail about 2 hours ago but do not expect a response for a couple of hours as it is only 7:40 am on the west coast.

Actually, I was up pretty late
Look at it this way if he doesn't come around you could always tell him your hands are registered
Just kidding of course
Good luck

Just an update, I recieved an e-mail first thing this morning from Tim. I won't go into the details of the e-mail as it was private and it is against my policy to post private matters in a public forum. All I will say is that I am very happy with his response and hopefully I will have my car back on the road in a couple of weeks.

Started removing the turbo last night and actually it looks like this was a good thing as I found 3 of the four studs to the downpipe gone and the last one was backed out about 1/4 of an inch!
Since I have to take everything apart again I think I am going to sell my wideband and test pipe to fund the purchase of a new tial. If anyone is interested in either let me know. The wideband is a zietronix and was used for only a couple of hours to tune the engine.
