Milledge Cam Installed: Break-in Advice
JME cam installed by my trusty friend/mechanic last night. Any advice or experience as to initial run-in/break-in procedures to avoid uneven wear or lobe leveling events? Swapped out valve springs with new OE Turbo springs during installation

Good assembly lube was hopefully used on the cam, that is by far the most important step.
The American car procedure to let it rev high for 20 minutes is not needed here. Their cams are lubed by oil splashed up by the spinning crank, so they need to keep the splashing going.
I would however keep it around 2-3k rpm for a few minutes, to give the lifters a higher chance of spinning like they should and to give it a little extra oil pressure.
Better yet, try contacting him for the exact procedure, I am just giving common sense tips.
