Hi, There is a Diecast website in Australia, www.biante.com.au that are listing 944 Turbos as listed for production in 1/18 and 1/43. Go to the website and type 944 into the search..

I think those listed as "development approved" are the same ones as mentioned earlier as they will be made by "AutoArt"

What about the Revell 1:24 944 Turbo kit? Came out within the last year I believe.

The Revell kits are available, but somewhat hard to get in the USA. It took two months for my order to come in. Other on-line hobby shops just list them as "on order". They are made by Revell Germany, I have no idea what that means for our distribution. Look what you can do with them!:
(no recent updates on the project other than the body is out getting paint)

It would be sweet if someone knew of a 1/10 944 turbo body?

The 1:18 turbo's and S2's are on the way from AutoArt.

AutoArt is notorious for being unbearably slow with new models. They will tweak and release models already on the market with a million paint jobs and model sub-types, and then they start doing new models.

Do you know of any projected time frame for the models, or should we just keep checking the website with our fingers crossed?

That WAS Auto Art that responded to me and wrote:

"Hi Dan, The Porsche 944 would not be released till 2007."

Interesting, not a single model made, yet the prices start at $97.00
