Default tire specification what does XL mean

eg 265/35ZR18Y XL does that change the diameter calculation?

http://www.hankooktyre.com.au/v2/pro...h=uhpt&id=1088

ps has anyone tried the Hankook Ventus Sport K104 as a street tire.

thanks

"Extra Load" - it means the tire has a higher load carrying capacity than a "typical" 265/35/18.

It does not change the tire's dimensions.

We call out XL rubber "Magnums" in America. I didn't realize there was a market for them down-under....

Seriously though, what Portly wrote.....
