Torsion Bar Replacement Question
When replacing torsion bars, is it necessary to "reindex" the torsion bars. I will not need to lower the rear any more than the spring place will currently allow. I am curious if you can replace the torsion bars without altering the current "setting" so to speak?
Any thoughts or experiences with this?

If you are replacing with a larger bar such as a 28mm or something like that, you should definetly reindex since the car will ride higher with the stiffened bars. I insstalled 28mm tbars and reindexed them just about one tooth higher and it sits beatifully. Good luck and definetly do it one side at a time, its not that hard really!
