Default replacing BOV

I have 2 951's, both with bad BOV's. I think they both have the original Bosch plasticjunk. I am leaning to getting Lindsey Racing valves. Has anyone had any experience with a company called Max Speed or EVO? Both cars are about stock except for chips and cat delete on one. Neither valve will hold vacuum and I have done vac hoses and venturi delete with Lindsey's kit and the throttle body with Bruce Arn's kit. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The 993 Bosch is good step up for only abour 30-40$ and for a mostly stock car.

Evo and Forge are also very good, but about 85-125$

I dont know about Evo, but I used a forge one for a while and found that it was prone to sticking occasionally causing loss of boost.

I then tried a bailey, which after a few thousand miles caused a vacuum leak... to which Bailey said "They all do that after a while".

I ended up buying a 9XX BOV from Jon Mitchell Porsche here in Bournemouth... Had no problems with it since.

Which Forge did you have ?
We did a group buy last year, and haven't heard anyone complain ?
It was supposed to be a really good unit ( but it was a little north of a 100 bucks)

Get one of the 993 billet BOVs and don't look back. Just about any Porsche dealer will carry them. I bought mine from Don at EBS for like $118.00. It is a direct replacement for yours and works GREAT! ! !

Buy a HKS BOV for cheap off EBay.

They are a pull type so they don't leak at idle, and they work fine for cars running 1 BAR to 2 BAR with good amounts of airflow. They also have a sequential valve meaning it will partially open under light boost pressure throttle lifts, rather than being an on / off switch, which smooths out the transition back onto power in the next gear.

We sell the Evo units, and they are a rock solid direct replacement.

Lol, yea the site sucks right now for purchasing. If anyone needs one, PM me and i will take care of it directly. I believe right now i have 2 silver units on hand. Not sure if i have any black units on hand or not. $119 is correct. Actually, if you are a rennlist member we take 10% off that. Just PM me if you are interested in getting one.
