Default TO bleed the slave cylinder.....

Do I have to remove the starter??

No -- but it's a tight fitting getting a hose onto the bleeder nipple with the starter in the way with a wrench at the right place. I'd put a wrench on the bleeder nipple first, and then put a hose over it with a plier.

ALrighty thanks, I haven't gotten under the car yet to take a look, I just figured it would be in the way because they suggest removing it when you replace the slave cylinder.

Hopefully the campus police don't mind me doing this in the parking lot after class HA

If you dont remove the starter, disconnect the battery.
