Default WTB or Trade: Fan Relay

Does anyone have a auxiliary fan relay, it's G10(big aluminum) I think on the relay board, my fans are on all the time and the relay is getting really warm. I can buy or will trade for parts since I have half a parts car in the garage.

Have you checked to make sure the problem isn't the coolant temp switch in your radiator?

20th street auto has those relays (used) for about $30 I think. Make sure you give whoever you buy it from the part number on the relay to match up, there are at least two different ones tht look very similar, but work differently.

I have part number 944.615.104.02 sitting in front of me. Is this the right part? I bought it and it and I ended up needing a new thermostat.

I have two or three spare ones that I would be willing to trade one for something.

I have a new lindsey racing vacuum line kit. Also have a used lindsey boost enhancer. I need a good airbox.

I don't think I have an airbox here, I know my boss has one at the shop. I think the temp sensor in the radiator might be the problem, I'll keep you guys updated

Chris, I had a problem with the temp sensor and thought it was the relay. The fans would stay on too long. Not sure if you have the same symptoms but is so, it might be why the relay is hot. Anyway, if you need the relay, you can have it if you pick up the postage.

I found another relay in the garage today and it didn't make a difference, so my boss just happened to have a brand new temp sensor and I have it all back together and it does not stay on like it used to. I looked at the airbox at work and it's messed up. Thanks rcatherton!
