Making 320/335 on the dyno back in '96, I could repeatedly time 60-100mph runs in 3rd gear (starting with vacuum) at 4.0 seconds. If I was running through 3rd gear & starting the timing at 60, i could reduce that to 3.7 or 3.8 seconds (was always one of those).

I did measure 0-100 in the street car coming out of the pit lane at VIR once (on board datalogging). Mid 9 second range. Kind of fun!

I looked in some old datalogs and found out my street car also did mid 9 sec 0-100 mph with a normal start last summer.

Mine is only an SV 650 
but after 60-70mph I'm pretty sure my car would rape it (vitesse chips at 18psi).
I did race a FZ600, an older bike, left me like I was sitting still through first, was passing him by third though.
