Default Max Coldside for a KKK #8

I'm looking at turbos, what is the max coldside for a KKK #8 hotside? Say T04B, T04E? 60-1? GT30 (R)?

Hmmm, Wes looking at turbos.... If you plan to get one, talk to me some. I am up in the air on what I want to get as well. I will be doing my this coming winter, plus I have been reading like every thread on turbos and read Corky Bell's book a couple of times.

Mike,
No problem. I'm just trying to figure out what size is the max I can go with. I'm looking at some 60-1's which are based off the T04S coldside with a 60mm turbine.

Mmmmm, 60-1.... When do you plan to upgrade then? I would love to come over and help you out since I will be doing the exact same thing to my car in 8 months or so.

I tuned with the safcII in which i believe is a very good fuel controller especially for the price. I had the chips burned by Guru Racing but i believe as long you have aftermarket chips somewhere close even you can use the fuel controller to adjust the fuel. The reason why i like the safcII is because you are allowed 12 set points to adjust fuel in high and low. by 12points i mean 800rpms 1300rpms 2500rpms etc.. up to 12. If you have a knock sensor it will also do that. Feel free to contact me about the safcII. I already helped some other members on the forum with this issue

Wes, I'm runnging the Lindsey Super 61 which I believe to be the 60-1hifi. It's a good turbo with a whole lot of punch. Do you plan to do a MAF too? I'm sure you know this, but you'll need more fuel too.

Mike, I meant to email you. I'm not going to make it on Saturday. Stupid me thought I could pull my whole interior and get it back together in 3 days. I'm bustin ***** to get it done, but with the wifey and daughter comming home today, I won't have much time to get anything done.

Perhaps we can meet up in a week or two to compare cars.

Kevin,
Yep. I plan on going 75lb injectors and MAF.. not sure who's MAF as I think they are all ridicously overpriced.

BTW, I'll shoot you a PM on the hood.. this weekend ok?

Sounds good. We can discuss MAF when you come down. I've got several ideas for you.

Wes,
Talk to Mr. Bob down at www.turbo-performance.com for a 60-1 Hifi, you will be happy you did.
