Hey you might be in for a bummer later, I have a freind with a graphics shop, he did some glow decals for me, put on my car(not the porsche) and A they didnt glow for very long, after exposure to light, so you really couldnt tell they were GITD at night, but the decal, turned dark yellow, and started to crack eventually, I assume due to the UV affecting the Glow material

Thanks for the heads up....
The vinyl which is really a metallic film is coated with some rare earth crap from China....isn't everything from China now.... anyway, it is actually used for new requirements in building code for buildings after September 11th.
Supposedly, supposedly....this is supposed to thrive in normal UV and last a long time. With the price they charge (not my price of course) I would expect it to last....it's supposed to be like $6/square foot. It glows in my garage for 6-7 hours right now.
The price was right($0), it was easy to put on and I'll most likely get bored with it in a couple seasons anyway. And besides the %$#@#$ car has only seen daylight for two days in the last 5 months so I'm not baking it right now!!! Hopefully that improves but with an enclosed trailer someday soon hopefully, it could literally only see 20 days of Sun anyway...need to sell the wife and kids and get more than 20 days of track time.
I'll keep an eye on it though. I still have another 25 feet of it so I could probably do the entire car again

If I worried about what the neighbors thought I'd be boring just like them. Actually most of the guys on the cul-de-sac thinks it's great. The wife was the one who just raised an eye brow of course she won't ride in the 911 either because it's a "guys car."
On it's maiden voyage around the sub division the kids were all thumbs up. It's not going to see any street time but it's not permanent either so it can always come off.

The old cup cars with the weird paint, they didn't seem to car if the wheels weren't rotated properly to match up, just that it looked like it would if they were.

Cool in the dark.
would be interesting with a complete GitD vinyl cover.

You've got me thinking now....I bet we could come up with something that would have that effect at least on the 993 wheels, I'm not sticking anything to the BBS's except new Hoosiers every few weekends.
