When exactly do you need to go from 55# to 75#? I am using stock injectors now and getting 290 at the wheels. I am installing a MAF soon and that why Im going to larger injectors but are 55# acceptable and 75# just overkill?

hmmmm.....really? What # are stock injectors? And what rwhp are stock injectors usually good to?

How do you know if you are maxing out your injectors? I wasnt sure if I was maxing mine out but since my A/F was getting lean at higher rpms I assumed this might be becuase of the injectors.

that is very possible that your stock injectors were starting to get maxed out. I see you are running a k27/6 there is another thing i would be thinking about upgrading since you are only running a #6 especially on a 2.8L motor.i forget the size of stock injectors something like 45# or something in the 40's

Thanks for the info. I know about the K27/6 but I dont want to change now....maybe eventually (maybe when the tial turbos are ready).........

Going back to the racetronix injectors.....if I get the low impedance injectors do I still need the ballast resistors? Also it seems the price for 4 injectors at Racetronix is approx $240 and the price at Lindsey is $400 and $350 at Vittesse.....any reason for the big price differences?

The stock 951 injectors are 36 pounds per hour, IIRC. I forget the formula used for determining duty cycle(use the search feature) but you can get an injector duty cycle gauge from Lindsey that will tell you what duty cycle you are running at.
If you are running stock injectors on a 2.8 and leaning out at the top end, you are probably running out of injector. Do you have an AFPR or at minimum a 3BAR FPR?

Sales volume.

a K27/6 on a 2.8 is a huge restriction. There is no point in increasing displacement with that turbine unless your goal is decreased spool time, not horsepower.

http://www.racetronix.com/3105FM.html

Mine have never been used... I got them for $250 from racetronix and could get at least that on ebay if I was anxious. I would do a trade, but there would need to be a little extra incentive...

Some dude is going to take all your bolts and body? Damn! I need that bolt we stole from my car - I just ordered some stuff from Sunset that already shipped out yesterday... I hate to pay $2 for a bolt and then pay $7 shipping. No hardware store has that pitch and length...

I do have an AFPR. I am already pulling out ~300rwhp....and with the MAF, chips, increased boost and bigger injectors I should be able get close to 350. This I think would be fine for me since this car is just for street use.

So definately buy from Racetronix then right?......seems no one can beat their numbers. And the low impedance injectors are the right ones?.....and dont require ballast resistors?
