Or is it just an ominous statment that somebody somewhere is indeed using their product?....
Perhaps we will never know.
Welcome to the twilight zone.

do do do do, do do do do.

I have yet to hear of anyone running them on RL. I'd like to see a good and interesting discussion on the merits of the sytem as compared to the difficulties involved with running the system. Off the bat it seems like it could make good sense, as a liquid cooled IC might as well.
Let's see who chimes in to discuss this.
How rare! a real tech discussion on RL!

Hmmm I checked out the pipes on their site, and it seems like a lot of work, I mean, how much improvement would you get over the "basic" aluminum hard pipes?

It would probably help if Lindsey were to post more tangible evidence of their effectiveness. I would like to see how well they cool over time and how much pressure drop they induce. HP results would be great too. I would assume their engine dyno would be able to give these guys a good test.

It seems a great deal like a water-air IC, but probably not as effective. I could be wrong though.

I wonder how much weight the system would add with the heavier pipes, fittings, metal lines and added liquid in the cooling system?

http://hausbrauen.blogspot.com/ -- they have been doing and are doing some testing - looks like they got some of the early prototypes, I checked with Lindsey and hausbrauen is an authorized dealer.

I know a little about the LR Thermal Hard Pipes. I know that LR hasn't had much time in the last 2 years to work on the THP because they have been very busy, moving, and getting that engine dyno on-line. The past couple of months they've been too busy to even fire up the dyno.

There has been a few brave souls try the hard pipes out. Mike told me a guy with a supercharged track car is trying one out and told Mike it reduced his intake temps by 50°F. Didn't say what he was using for coolant. LR is not going to post anything technical until they have some cold hard data to back up their claims.

Here is a prior thread on the subject and it still looks to me like an interesting solution looking for a problem, especially with our relatively effective intercooler already in place.

How about running the A/C line thru it instead, LOL...I always have the A/C on so why not cool the intake a little too

Or better yet, CO2 injection onto the intercooler, thru a sleeve like that. I used to run C02 on my Talon, works good.
