Question Removing the downpipe from the turbo

I managed to get all the bolts off that hold the downpipe to the turbo, but the downpipe is still stuck to the turbine housing. Is there a good way to get the downpipe off that I am missing? So far I have just worked my way around the flange using a hammer and chisel.

You could try heat and PB blaster.

Did you remember to remove the bolt that holds the downpipe to the engineblock, at the bottom of the downpipe?

I may be going that route soon Max. I gave it a heavy dose of PB blaster last night.

Black Arrow - The turbo is completely out of the car, I just need to remove the downpipe from the turbo.
