i found some vids guys. The first vid is when i had stock piping with a gutted cat and muffler. The other two is when i had a straight 3inch pipe exhaust and muffler and turbo etc.. Everytime i watch the vid of me at the track i loved the way those rims look
The muffler on the car is a magnaflow but unsure if there is different models

Thanks Dan, the magnaflow sounded the quietest and it gets good marks in the archives too. Trying to id the straight thru design on a particular muffler on their web site is another trick alltogether.

the best muffler for the 951 is the stock muffler, which is a true straight-through no-baffle design with triple tuned resonation chambers;
from; http://www.chaserace.com/exhaust/exhaustautopsies.html
as for the aftermarket ones;
flowmaster
-has baffles, no good for turbo application
http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/mufflers.html
borla xr-1 racing exhaust
-no interior diagrams available, i'm a bit leery of products with wild claims and no diagrams nor specs
http://www.borla.com/media/prod_images/xlarge/40536.jpg
edelbrock sdt
-has baffles, no good for turbo application
http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...t_304_ss.shtml
edelbrock rpm
-stainless no-baffles, lifetime warranty (discontinued)
magnaflow wide open
-polished stainless, straight-through no-baffles, lifetime warranty
http://www.magnaflow.com/wideopen/wideopen.asp
dynomax ultraflow ss
-polished stainless, straight-through no-baffles, lifetime warranty
http://www.dynomax.com/products/ufss.asp
since the edelbrock rpm is no longer available, i would go with either the magnaflow or dynomax, whichever sounds quieter.

Thanks Nize! Sat down and did a couple hours diging on this yesterday and found alot of the same info. I loved the Fabspeed tennis ball test.
I do have a speedshop looking for a Edelbrock that they say they have...
The Summit and Jegs sites were most helpful and the prices were damn good too. Watched a renn vid of the Dynomax Race Magnum Bullet and it sounded pretty damn quiet, then I saw it on the Dynomax site and thought "how the hell"! It's so small and it's only $38, pn #289-24222. We need a video of that at WOT and passing by on the street
I found only one Flowmaster 50 series with 3" in and outs centered, write up said "chambered"???
Watched that vid on the Edelbrock and really liked it, sounded like it makes up for a little "under-displacemnet", decel sounded great too. I'm only slightly ed at myself for missing the ~$800 rig out of FL that just sold.
Saw the renn vids on the Magnaflow and thought the #14319 (Summit $95) might do the trick, the lesser of two evils thing.
So I'll hold another hour and a half to see if the speedshop comes through...

afaik, ALL flowmaster mufflers are chambered/baffled and are NOT good for turbos.
i've heard good things about dynomax ultraflow ss, but don't know what it sounds like on a 951.
i still think edelbrock rpm is the best though.
