What is this made of ??
What is the crossover to wastegate pipe made from?
I've got to have mine repaired and want to let the welder know.
Isn't it " Monel" or "Iconel" .

I hav gone around the block on this question with Tim at SFR and a couple of other VERY experienced metal workers (over the age of 50 - and non-computer types of guys).
The average opinion is that it is not full inconnel, nor full 409, nor full 304.
It is, like everything else on these annoying cars, a freak of German experimentation. But there is definitely titanium in it.
