The body currently on the snake is an Everett-Morrison, but the original aluminium shell is in the garage. The Engine, chassis and shell are all numbers-matching, but for the time being, the fibreglass body is on there because the stones getting kicked up in the (unprotected) wheelarches put outwardly-pushed dings in the bodywork... the fibreglass doesn't matter, but the aluminium bidy is a little too valuable to be risked every day!!!

No wonder Jason never answers the Paragon phone anymore. If I come pick up my parts in person do I get a ride?

When I was 18 I had a '71 Mustang Boss 351...I kick myself everytime I think about it for selling it when I was young and stupid!
Ouch. My dad had a Cobra back in the day (289, not 427) which had to be sold upon learning I was on the way. How much you wanna bet I was a mistake??! The real stinger is how much it was sold for. I won't say how much, but I paid more for my 951....

My dad once had a chance to buy a 289 for $5 grand. My mom wouldn't let him have 2 sports cars. The other was a Jaguar XK140 Competition Coupe. He kept the Comp. which was probably a good decision.

I have to ask about the hubs...real Cobras had pin drive hubs with knock offs...this one seems to have bolt on wheels?

Hell, back in '67 you could walk into your friendly neighbourhood Ford dealer and buy a brand new 427 Cobra for $7000!

I'll ask next week when I'm back at work.
