allows you to run higher boost I believe. I think the KLR is what determines when overboost will cut in, but I could be wrong.

DME chip has the overboost protection limit. Determines the air flow through the AFM, and if its higher than a preset limit for a period of time (second or so) through an rpm range, it will cut the fuel.

I was just wondering if I needed this since I'm bypassing the cycling valve. I didn't notice it cutting the fuel, but just wanted to check.

Kevin, no need to change the klr if you are not using the cv.

That's right.. so then the KLR is what controls the CV which actually limits the boost?
