Default Balance Belt idler roller - how do I set it's tension???

I'm assuming you set the actual tension of the balance shaft belt with the 'tensioner roller' (i.e. the adjustable roller with teeth). So, how do I set the tension of the idler roller (i.e. the adjustable roller with no teeth). Do I set it after the belt tension is set, and then just enough so that there is no slack between the roller and belt? Thanks in advance.

Found it at the end of the Clark's Garage instructions - 0.5mm clearance after setting the belt tension. Cheers!

There are TWO dimensions given for this roller. One for the section of belt above the roller, and one for the section of belt below the roller.

Please enlighten me, Mr. Lutjens. I can't find the spec for below the roller. I can definitely see how this would matter (you can get the 0.5mm in a couple different positions with the roller). Thanks!

Well - the book says 1mm DEFLECTION of upper section and .5mm SPACING above lower section. It is written very crypticly by a first year German English language student, by the looks of it.
I, however, do not leave the deflection above - I leave .5 space up and .5 space below.
