I found the following 935 style adjustable spring plates made by a company called MBT out of Germany.

I have been thinking of getting the Kokeln Tbar carrier delete setup that has this syle of spring plate, but these would be about $1,000 cheaper.
Anyone heard of these? They look good in the photos but I would like to hear a first hand review before plunking down $1k. Hoping our European contingency will chime in here.

Those are for use on the early cars only with steel trailing arms (instead of our aluminum arms). No idea if they can be properly retrofitted.

It looks like the have different models on there website but the website is in German so I can't confirm. Also the ebay auction description says they have models for all 944's. So I am guessing they have a setup for later aluminum trailing arms.

While they do look nice and they do fit the aluminum arms, they are stupid expensive. The ERP 935 style plates for 911's are much cheaper than those and the other issue with them that I see is they did not raise the pick up at the front. What's the point then? I would spend my money elsewhere and use Delrin bushing on the factory spring plate.
If you really want something like that, atleast get something that raise's the pickup point. Kokeln/Vision used to sell a torsion tube replacement kit that came with the raised pick up plate's. It also saves 100 lbs in weight!

The Kokeln unit only saves 25 lbs and is $2,100, and the ERP 911 units still aren't cheap at $800+, but I hear what you are saying. I wish we had more access to track parts like our 911 brothers do. If these units had the revised pickup points I would be all over them in a heart beat even at the steep price tag. I don't like the fit of the delrin units and like the idea of the spherical bearing pickup point. Also the thought of being able to do my own rear alignments is nice as well.
I wish someone like Racers Edge would bust out a setup like this, although I'm not sure there is enough of a demand to justify it.

I have done two of the Kokeln units and both cars dropped atleast 100 lbs. The torsion bar tube is heavy as hell. The Kokeln unit weights about 25 lbs.
I cut my own Delrin so fit is not an issue. It would be nice for someone to make a set of quality plates here in the US. The other thing I thought about is the quality of the spherical end of the MBT unit. I have seen more than a few poor quality rod ends.

Chris, are you counting the mounts and the t-bars themselves in your weight comparison? I compared a t-bar tube with the Kokeln and also only found a 25lb savings.

Not for my comparison, since we can yank the t-bars, trim the mounts, and upgrade some bushings on the stock setup and get the same function for half the cost, just without the fancy alignment abilities. At that point its paying ~1000 more for a 25lb weight savings.
