Has anyone done business with Turn Clear? I orded some clear rear lenses from them a couple of weeks ago and my order status is very "unclear." Communication after receiving my payment has been sort of lacking and I'm not sure if they have shipped. I'd just thought I'd ask if anyone else had done business with them and what their experience was like.

From everything I've heard, those guys are a good option for front clears. Unfortunately Turn Clear was the only source for rear clears that I could find. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt before drawing a conclusion but the lack of communication isn't a good sign.

My experience was quite good; a slightly damaged set of repeaters resulted in a complete new set being send out. He is somewhat slow with email responce. A "few weeks" seems to long to me. If you didn't get ANY feedback after your order, I would say IT problems might have stopped your order ever arriving on his server... My 2 cents.

Those front clears zermett posted then edited out looked like a good deal, i was gonna buy, but then 18 bucks for UPS ground, and now I'm not buying right now.

yea, but their not spur of the moment buy price range anymore. I've got more important things to buy first.

I have bought about 10 sets clear front indicators, rear clears and side markers from Turn Clear / Joakim. Always greate service. Sometimes it might take a little bit time to receive items, but they have always sent what i have ordered.

How long did it take for you to receive your order and what sort of communication did you get after your purchase? I simple email stating your product has shipped or will ship on xx/xx/xxxxx would be all that's needed but communication does not seem to be Joakim's strength. As a former customer, would you be willing to contact him on my behalf?

RK951, thanks for the heads up on this issue. I was getting ready to order a set of the clear side markers from them as they are the only ones that I know of that make them. I guess I'll wait & see what happens.

BTW- A bunch of us have ordered from these folks (clear front lenses) and have been pleased with their product & fast shipping (only issue was they sent the wrong bulbs);

Since a couple people have emailed me inquiring I thought I'd post an update. I paid Turn Clear for clear rear lenses on Feb 18 2006. After multiple emails to inquire on status and the majority ignored, approximately 1 month later I receive a set of lens that can only be described as poor quality. Edges cracked with course edges which looked like they were carved out of a mould and microbubbles everywhere. I contact Joakim immediately and he offered to send out a new set of lens. Last week he claimed to be shipping them out, "tommorow" however he has again disappeared and does not reply to my request to see if they have shipped or for tracking information. If they do not show up by the end of next week, I intend to file a complaint with Paypal for a refund. Want to beg a vendor for a product your pay for or receive garbage? Buyer beware, you have been warned.

I have bought at least 10 sets of front blinker lenses from Joakim. Allways good quality stuff and no problems at all. Sorry to hear about your difficulties.
