Default 951 Tie Rod Removal

I am replacing the complete tie rods on my 87 951 and cannot remove the universal end that connects to the steering rack. Is there a trick to removal? Set screw, clamp etc.?

Any how to information out there on tie rod removal?

Is there a special tool that is required to remove the inner tie rod end?

The part on the other end of that little ball will unscrew from the rack

Thanks. I have placed a big wrench on the inner end, but I was hesitant to really pull on the wrench for fear that there was a set screw or clamp mechanism that I was not aware of?

So the inner swivel housing should just be wrenched?

Is there a torque spec on that ball housing?

Yeah, it just unscrews, and I don't know about the torque spec...
I am one of those "It feels tight enough" people...
