Tony,
Why don't they look like the weltmeister bars I see in catalogs (the ones which have several machined and anodized parts, plus lots of screws)?

There are the original Weltmeisters and there are the Racing Weltmeisters.
The original Weltmeisters are a more conventional sway bar. The Race Weltmeisters are more like a 911 front type of sway bar with the extended arm type linkage.
The Racing Weltmiesters are great... just not on a car driven on the street unless you like lots of clacking and clunking.
Both work equally well. Main difference is the weight. And the trade off is the noise.

Thanks, Tony. I don't like the looks of the racing bars. Too many pieces and parts for comfort. The originals look nice. I should have jumped on yours.

*** THE SWAY BARS ARE ONCE AGAIN UP FOR SALE ***
The guy that said he's "take them" has now flaked out.
So the bars are now available.
PLEASE - DO NOT TELL ME YOU WILL BUY THEM (OR ANYTHING TO THAT EFFECT) UNLESS YOU INTEND TO BUY THEM.
I simply don't have the time to screw around on a $450 sale.
Who was next in line, and are you ready to buy?
The bars are setup for an '86 951, but if you have a later style suspension, I will supply the new lower front mountings required (4 conical washers... trivial).
These are ready to ship tomorrow.
