Question Should any type of sealant be used on the oil cooler housing?

I am resealing my oil filter(oil cooler) housing today and was just wondering if you guys suggest putting any type of sealant on anything like the large main integral gasket, or should it just be put on dry with nothing?

Just a light coat of the gasket spray, just the tac spray to keep it in the housing as you try to stab it, works just fine.
