Cool So whats the option code for a Turbo-Supercharger?

Looking through PET to figure out where all the relays go... Noticed this. Look at G19.

That's when there's a belt that drives the turbine at 20:1 when the engine is idling, then when you step on the gas a little, it instantly reaches max boost, then the turbo clutch disengages. From there it works like a normal turbo. You've never heard of it?

Hmm... I think I just invented something...give it 20 years.

Porsche experimented with superchargers on our cars, but never produced any that I know of. There's something about it in the thread about "why did porsche de-tune the 951".

Turbosupercharger is the full formal name of a turbo.

Turbine driven supercharger = turbocharger

The maintenance manual for my Yamaha dirt bike (1979) was full of stuff much worse than that. At the end of each chapter it said "Ready to off road riding", always cracked me up.

That technology has been on reciprocating-engine aircraft for about 50 years. Sorry guys.

Pick up a 2nd gneration Rx7 manual sometime for amusement. The translated danger warnings are great "Never do this. You will be dead." etc.
