Default Boost Gauge ?

I bought a defi d-guage and was wondering where i should splice into to get boost pressure? I know the easiest way to tap into would be the klr line but ive heard its better to splice into somewhere around the fpr. What is the most accurate reading? Thanks for the help.

I went with the passenger foot well for my electronic boost gauge- KLR line. T-tap.

I you are using a vacuum manifold just run a line directly to your guage from the manifold.

My intake has two banjo bolts- a single and a double. I bought a double and replaced the single, so no lines had to be cut.

Or, even better - talk Laust into making some more of his 5-port vacuum manifolds

Agreed. Those things clean up the vac system so well. I pull my boost line off one of the 5-ports. Well worth the money.

Nize is that the more accurate than the klr line? What is that piece that u have it spliced into?

i believe it's more accurate than the KLR line because the line itself is shorter (shorter = better). the piece is a soft rubber T fitting. you can buy one here;

and this has been discussed in detail already. thread is here;

It's not really more accurate, it just removed any risk of screwing up your KLR connection.

The pressure at the manifold and at the KLR line have to be the same. If there is a pressure difference between those two points, then elementary physics says that air will flow from higher pressure to lower pressure to equalize the difference.

I just tapped it into the intake manifold while I had it off for paint.
