Tell him to take his frustrations out on some oil leaks

Yep, I've got them saved somewhere myself.

Just remember for lunch on Monday to order your chicken raw. We'll put it under my car and fry it right up. How's Castrol Broasted Chicken sound?

Did you make the races in Baker today?

Body refinish and buffing is all done, except for the fiberglass parts (waiting on fenders)..

You know I have to have body colored door handles....

Yea, I made the races but I didn't recognize anyone from when I was a club member.

All the engines are 2 cycle gas these days, no nitro....

BTW- I don't eat chicken any kind of way so the Castrol deep fry is out....

GT normal turbo fenders in fiberglass.

Thought about the wide set and Carrera rear flares...

If Hank hadn't shipped yet, I could still change my mind though....

Keeping it real 'cause as the mayor said I'm the "white milk that mixes with the dark chocolate to make New Orleans a chocolate city"

...

Take care, and err, nice new paint job on the #94 Spec car....

He it is your car. You can build it as you please. The car looks real nice otherwise. Nice job on the inside of the doors.

Thanks for the comments my 944. I finally painted the outsite after running the car since 2000. The 5 layers of old paint were finally look really bad. Took me 5 days to paint and then in my 3 session a stupid mustang driver crinkled the right front fender. I just today finshed the repair on that. Hammered the metal straight and repainted it. Major pain really, but the kind of thing happens to a race car.

Yea, if you'd have left it with the chipped up old 5 season paint job he wouldn't have come near your fender.....

Exactly the reason that I'm not goint to paint on a bunch of hard to duplicate striping, etc.

I liked the line you chose for the white since I first saw it, shouldn't have been that hard to mask...

Terry, have you considered vinyl kits for graphics? That is if you want something like that.

Yea, I did Bret, there's a local guy and he's even a friend of mine but that's one busy line of work.

He told me it'd be weeks before he'd catch a break in schedule.
Do you know of any links to vinyl "kits" for 944 bodies....?

I used to race a 90mph nitro RC outrigger and it was a Zebra scheme like Huntley before I ever knew who or what Huntley Racing was and now that they're gone I was thinking about reviving the Zebra theme.
I also raced one with the McLaren Marlboro theme in honor of Ayrton Senna but these days, being all grown up and stuff (lol), I think the tobacco theme's a bit over the top....

Other possibiities are a wide and thin trim stripe in red over the wheel arches and tying in the Red "PORSCHE" negative logo on the rockers. I wanted to have sorta of an American flag theme originally so with the second design, I could take my red stripe straight back from the rear quarter wheel arch and make that red width be the bottom stripe of what would be a flag on my 1/4 panels.

Or something like this being that under PCA classifications, the car would be GT3 on race or street tire-

I'm pretty creative...I'll come up with *something*.....lol

OT- For those going to Sebring next weekend, be on the lookout for John Crosby's GT3 car.
It's sponsored by a real estate company and the entire car is a real estate map of properties all in vinyl...

Further OT- You guys remember the 'Porsche and the Rat' video...?
Well, there's a friend of mine from an F1 forum that lives in Ireland and he's having mouse/rat problems in his garage.
Here's the live mouse/rat cam-

No specific links but you can type it in and get hundreds of hits. We almost did something like this for the track car too, it was going to be a series of strips, sorta like paint brush strokes, ending in a checkered flag.
