Do you have a maf now? Even if you do, you will need to change chips or if you want to go ghetto you can get a signal massager and dyno time. I have a custom chip and I still needed dyno time and a piggyback. To answer your question you will need something.

You can probably get away with just using the arc 2. Just know in the back of your head that it is a major band aid fix. Good luck with and I know once it is set up you will love the maf. Huge difference over the AFM.

5 years ago, a Huntley MAF with an ARC2 was the hot ticket. I've been using that combo for years -- made 345 rwhp that way, with a Huntley turbo. Granted, the ARC2 lacks the fine tuning ability of the new digital fuel computers, but it works ok. I've used that combo with APE, GURU and Vitesse MAF chips, and all worked fine. The stage 4 MAF is a bit big for a 2.5 liter motor and typical turbo, so stop and go traffic can be a bit jerky. I've been using the stage 3 MAF lately for better daily drivability.

You will have to play with it just to get it to run good enough to get it to the dyno. That is if you are running AFM chips, but it will work. Just DON'T push it until it is dynoed, unless you get some Maf chips. Good luck.
