Default Gapless Piston Rings

What do you guys think about this one?
Does seem pretty nice. Would the thinner part of the rings, where the cap used to be, be strong enought for a high boost turbo application?

I have had very good luck with them – but not in an alusil block. I used them in sleeved applications.

Chris, are you using these in your mid sleeves sets?

Yep. They seal very well and as an added plus they are not fussy about break-in procedures.

Chris, A quick clarification for me. Does this mean you have had bad luck with them in an alusil block or that you don't have experience with them in an alusil block

Thanks,
Rob

I run them in my stock block with over 10k miles now...no issues. Great rings. I've had nothing but positive experiences in chevy small block applications as well.

I haven’t used them in Alusil – I do most of my building with sleeved motors. The rings are fairly soft so I would think they would work well in Alusil.
