That looks awesome! I know NZ951 has a hood scoop in his garage waiting to go on... he has the 926 header panel vents too, that should look sweet. Thanks for posting the pics, its nice to see a 951 with the scoop on!

There is an opening thru the scoop. I guess you can say it is functional. Cool are to the motor?

The issue being the scoop is over the exhaust headers and effectively cools the gases down. You want to keep the heat in the pipes. It would be better to duct the air flow 90 degrees over the fuel rail and intake manifold and provide a means of escape. I suggest a new gasket on the firewall and sealing the wiper motor cover to the windshield so you dont get engine funes in the cabin.

either way, nice car, beat me to the hood scoop, i always wondered what that looked like, and now i know. now i just need to justify popping a hole in the hood and slapping one of those bad boys on.

that and the Turbo script on the fender.

edit- the wheels/nose panel rock to no end. fills the wheel wells a lot better. i like that look.....gonna have to go search the junkyard........
