Default headlights not working - help

I can get the parking and fog lights to go on, but not the headlights. They don't pop up and from what I can tell, they are not illuminating either. I checked the fuses and they are ok. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance...

Headlight switch, maybe? Do you have current at the headlight fuses?

I don't know - I haven't tried to check. I can also try another switch as well.

Thanks!

Hey, I just went through something similar in my 944S2, only my headlights would pop up but not turn on. Only the high beams.

If yours aren't popping up, check the fuses first, and secondly, the relay on the headlight motor (next to the window washer pump). Pull off the protective sleeve and check the relay. They very seldom go bad, though, so be sure to check the fuses as well.

Next I would check the switch, particularly if you have a spare one. The **** pulls off and you will need a large wrench to loosen the nut that holds the switch to the dash. You can pull the switch out from behind the dash by laying on your back in the footwell and using a flashlight.
