Default Removing decals & badges

I want to remove the rear "Porsche" decal (above bumper) & the rear "Turbo" badge ('cause I like the stealthy look). I'm thinking careful use of a heat gun & some mild adhesive remover should do the trick.

Is this the way to do it? Any other advise?

TIA

The turbo badge comes off pretty easily. Clean up whatever adhesive is left behind with GM adhesive remover or mineral spirits. Maybe GM adhesive remover on the decal?

I had to pull off one of the F-250 emblems on my truck. Some kid broke the "F" off. Holy crap that was a mother bitch to get off.

remove the turbo badge with a heat gun and a piece of dental floss. heat the emblem up and use the dental floss like a cheese cutter. It will cut right through the adhesive on the emblem and won't scratch the paint. there any number of adhesive removers to get the remaining goo off of the car.

ThankX, I'm specially liking the dental floss trick. Never heard that one before, very cool!
