Sell them to me. Can we do that transaction while I'm in the U.S. though? Might be easier...

Randy is, and we're hoping to go around Nuremburgring but it's only so much fun with a rental, and I can't take my prepped 951S there. Hence the real reason for this post.

Other than a bit of skiing and having autobahn fun, there's nothing I'm going there for, this time around.

Go see the Deutsches Museum in Munich -- they've got a fascinating collection of motor vehicles, and lots of other great industry and technology exhibits.

A bit north of Munich, in Ingolstadt, the Audi Museum is well worth a visit. A great collection of historic auto's, including some of the Auto Union grand prix racers designed by Herr Porsche himself.

And by all means, enjoy the beer!!

I'm near enough to the 'ring. Didn't go today though as it was covered in snow.

When are you going to be here? I'm in the Rheintal near the Loreley.

Is the ring open right now? I was under the impression it was closed for the holidays (maybe it was just the office...). Is it open to the public?
He will be here Dec 29th-03

Yes - the ring is open as long as the track is not covered by snow. And it is snowing currently...

Yes, I was all set to go yesterday, got the car out of the barn all checked out and and then looked on the webcam only to see snow covering the track. We got the snow here last night so I would guess the 'ring is buried for the forseeable future...
