got one ordered, hopefully be in next week or so. I'm gonna run it to my E-01 and log that way, probably won't use the guage, I'm glad they finally came out with a nice looking display though. I hated that big ugly box they used before

I was also looking at the AEM Uego as it fits in a 2 1/16" gauge pod which will work perfectly. This just looks like a nice set up.

innovative offers an analog gauge which is why I like it (no flashing lights etc)

I have the AEM UEGO with the gauge mounted in the LoTek gauge pod. It's similar to the Innovate except the AEM has the controller circuitry built right into the gauge itself. The gauge hooks directly to the O2 sensor. Also, I think the AEM is a little bit less expensive than the Innovate.

I have the lm-1 it is a great tunning tool and is very simple to use. Btw what is the diameter of the standalone lc-1 gauge?

I'm resurecting this thread to ask if you installed this yet and what your opinions are.

Thanks.

yep the XD-1 is in I like it really well. calibration is easy, you can customize the led colors to fit your taste it records, has analog outputs, although I don't use it, I welded a bung on my downpipe just behind the turbo, and left the stock sensor in place and connected the DME. You print your own custom guage faces on a transparency and it came with a white and black face. I like having the led's for quick reference when I don't have time to read the display numbers. The display automatically dims at night so it isn't overly bright

Here's a picture oif the install. I mounted the LC-1 just in front of the DME test plug, behind the strut and wired into the fuse box and ran the rest of the wires into the car through an open relay panel. I drilled a hole in the side of the fuse box below the lid's level and ran the wires through there, and grommeted the hole

Thanks for the info. I need to decide between the Innovate and AEM. Right now I may be leaning toward the AEM for price and ease of installation....Are there any notable cons about the AEM from those using it?

no datalogging at least when I checked anyhow, if you wanted to log you had to have their AMS standalone setup. I actually datalog mine through my E-01 so I can see wideband, rpm, boost all on the same log

I could not be happier with my R-500. If you can find a higher quality wideband kit with more features I would be impressed.

I have the Lm1 in my VW and I love it. The datalogging is great and supposedly the calibration with Innovate stuff is way better than the set calibration of widebands like the UEGO

I just received my XD-1 here a couple days ago but I am waiting to install because of the impending clutch job I will be starting in a week. I seriously looked at the AEM for it's attractive price and decent looks, but I seen no evidence supporting that it datalogs or any programable software for the analog outputs for the narrowband signal. With my TEC2 EMS I need to be able to adjust these parameters, and I knew the XD-1 did that. Also, what swayed me was the fact that the XD-1 records and holds the MIN and MAX AFR readings, and datalogs right to a laptop which I need for the TEC2 anyway. You can even program a warning (flashing LED's) for when the AFR reaches below a certain preset value at when TPS is above X% and Boost is above Ypsi. However, you will need either an LM-1 and XD-1 gauge or XD-1 standalong (includes LC-1) and the LMA3 AUX BOX which also allows you to datalog EGT, BOOST, RPM, etc. The customization of guage faces is cool too. Innovate offers much more support to via a webf orum, updates to software, and videos, tuning articles. Hope this helps!
