Hi,
Recently drove my 951 for the first time in the snow and it was quite scary. Looking to get some snow tires. Do I need fronts and rears or would just fitting rears be sufficient. I have a FWD wagon with snows on the fronts and it works great. Would prefer not having to go with all 4 wheels.
Thanks!

Two years ago when I picked up my 951 in WI and drove back to San Diego in mid Dec, I was a little edgy but the Mastercraft (Cooper) tires kept a good grip. Until then, it had been several years since I had driven in snow and ice.

Check Tirerack.com. I got a good rated all-season from them for $95 each and shipping is very cheap. They will even drop ship to a tire shop. The tires I got were the Avon Tech M550 A/S. They work very well.

Four are the way to go, anything else is half-assed. Keep in mind some of the tires have the winter compound rubber throughout the tread, while others only the first 10k of wear. Recommend tirerack.com
