Default WTB: triangle flange for 2pc crossover

Anyone have (1) spare triangle flange like the one pictured?

Its the last piece in my late crossover pipe puzzle...

Feel free to post here or pm me if you have one.

Thanks,
Sam

So this is the late crossover that everyone talks about? I guess my 86 has that. Is there another split or just that one that makes it late style? Sorry a bit OT

If your 86 has that crossover then someone changed it along the line...Lindsey made a 3 piece but they dont make it anymore. Most crossovers are 1 (86) or 2 piece (87+) A guy from rennlist that got a tial installed one weekend had a 87 turbo and had a one piece crossover. wierd.

Ok so here's a question while we're on the subject, You'll notice the dump tube to the wastegate is just cut off square. Since that's a donut gasket between the two flanges, I noticed that mine doesn't seal and it's the same setup. If you look at the other piece of it which is attached to the wastegate, you'll notice that it has a 45 or so degree flare around it to seal against the graphite donut.

Is everyone's like that? Or is this a case where some of us who have earlier cars that were converted got screwed because someone just hacked the 1 piece apart with a hacksaw or sawzall rather than properly flaring the tube end so that it seals up nicely. I could see a shop doing this because they'd probably have to pull the crossover to flare it correctly but people might not notice if they did the hack job.

Just curious, as I'm debating ditching the flared tube/triangle flange setup altogether and then either cutting off the flared part on the short piece attached to the wastegate and then using a flat band type exhaust clamp or maybe weld a v-band on it or something instead. Short of that you could also weld the triangular flange on the crossover pipe end in place to provide a seal and then the other side will rotate so it lines up and it all fits.

In any case I'd like to know what the "official" setup for these is supposed to be.

Actually now that I think about it, mine's done oppositely of the one sam has the picture of. On mine it's the short piece that got swaged and flared instead of the piece on the crossover pipe. There's no physical way the triangle flange on my short pipe can come off short of bending or cutting the pipe.
