Default Koni vs. Leda coilovers

I will be ordering rear coil overs for my dedicated track car(deleting 30mm torsion bars). I am considering the 3012 Konis from Paragon and the double adjustable Ledas from Racers Edge. I have had great service from both of these companies in the past.
My car is running a coilover set up in front (600 lb. springs) and weighs 2380 lbs.
Does anyone have personal experience with either of these set ups? It has been suggested by one company that I run 700 lb rear springs and 600 lb springs by the other company.
Thank you for your input.

Will you be selling the torsion bars?

The Ledas have more adjustability than the Konis I think, as well as the option for the gas canisters.

I'm running Ledas double adjustables. They've been
very reliable. You should strenghten the upper shock
mounts for safety precaution as you're going with
such heavy springs in the rear without torsion bars.

Thank you to those that have responded. Edge, I will be selling the torsion bars. 9fitty, are you running the 3012's? What rear spring rates are all of you running?

I have the intro-level oiled non-adjustable Ledas. I have nothing but praise for the set-up. The quality is excellent, and the valving is perfectly matched to the spring rates.

your looking at two very good companies. It comes down to which valving is better suited for you. Remember that if a Leda breaks or needs work, you'll be sending out to europe, waiting on parts, paying an arm and a leg. Koni has parts on the shelf with stores usually local (to me at least) ready to fully rebuild for cheap and even free. (if the warranty applies for the 3012 series, which I would go with over the Ledas)
Anywho, thats mainly opinion. I'm a Koni guy. (no experience with leda)

Edge,
Yes, you can buy them. Obviously, I need some time to remove them. This will depend on which company I go with. There is a five week diference in delivery time. Make me a reasonable offer, and they are yours when I remove them.

Nope, Karl rebuilds them here in the US. I had one rebuilt a month ago - overnighted it to him on Monaday and it was back in my car by Thrusday! (The shipping was more than the parts/labor to rebuild it!).

Koni makes good stuff - the main difference is that the Ledas are custom built to your spring rate.

Either way you will be happy!

PS - I am a Leda dealer so I may be just a tad biased...

From a relatively unbiased point of view, Eyal's post is complete BS.

Sent my Ledas to Karl for rebuilding under warranty. Karl had them back in 2 days, and also upgraded the rear mounts to spherical bearings. Service and support are excellent for the Ledas, and service is located in the USA!

AND, There are very reliable dealers in the U.S. selling Leda's. Chris is obviously one of them.
