you guys shouldnt pick on bearone so much even though he was kinda picking on me.

hes right about good drivers getting killed, all it takes is someone else not paying attention to their daily commute to screw up your weekend.....or life.

I am glad to see this thread and the responses. Makes me feel much better for getting flamed in the OT insurance thread. I guess 951 owners are just more mature. I posted that on the streets you should try to drive conservatively and if you don't want to then go to a track or BFE.

bearone: do you theink if they made it a law for drivers to wear helmets in there cars would the death rate from crashes lower significantly? i just wonder what the number one cause of death is in car crashes, head trauma?

when i had to take traffic school the teacher said that he always wore a helmet when he was driving

i doubt it very much.

wearing a helmet can certainly reduce head trauma but the rest of the body can only endure so much trauma.
just like on motorcycles, the helmet would probably allow for an open casket funeral.

did the instructor have a lot of pens in a pocket protector?

did you ever go for a beer after traffic school with the instructor? are you old enuff to go for a beer?
