nope, really they are strut mounts. Catastrophic diverter is a term we penned up during the Y2K thing when people would call and ask if their cars would still run. Kinda a joking term we still use as a inside joke.

Those two studs go into that particular camber plate from the bottom and then bolt on top. I would ditch them, unless he sold you the plates, and buy the KLA monoball set for about 115.00 from Paragon.

unless you race, or just want some bling, you don't really need camber plates, because once you have everything aligned, you won't have much need to adjust anything.
