Figured I could do all the "been meaning to do that" stuff whille waiting for the motor. Once this alarm is all out, I'll have a vintage radar detector (i.e., random beep generator) for sale too. Then I'll do the fuel lines and pump. Then ???

Might one ask what brand that alarm is? I have an aftermarket installed too that I'm contemplating removing (probably will if it's the same). It has had 'random' moments too, but seems to have calmed down once re-programmed. I'm still not too sure if I trust it .....

On close inspection, it was called "The Maxx". I left if in for years because its wiring branched out everywhere and I had no schematic to explain where the ignition was cut. Turned out to be fairly simple -- the alarm acted as a relay for a main +12v wire coming out the bottom of the fuse/relay box. All the rest were just sensors, switches, the alarm itself, and tie-ins to the horn and lights.
