395: Light Metal Wheels "Forged" (FAUCHS)
Are you sure you are not confusing the wheel you have with "Fuchs". Fuchs are forged, light weight wheels that the factory offered on 951's as an option. In fact, I belive the only Porsche rim lighter was the ULTRA rare magnesium phone dials. The rims you show are definately not Fuchs.

Those are the optional "Flat Dish" forged wheels. They were manufactured by Fuchs.

That's what I thought. Accent on the thought, because I really don't know if they made another Mg wheel ?
I didn't think they did .. Also, my Mg cup wheels look very different ( other than they are phone dials )
the paint on those wheels looks very white wash .. But then again that's not the best picture either.
I have never seen a escort or other 944 variant with Mg wheels but, I am not an authority by any means.

No doubt .. Those orig came out with the 928 if I am not mistaken ?
but I never knew there to be a Mg wheel of that style ...

They are forged aluminium alloy, not mg.
