I replaced mine with lindsey racings rubber lines and fire sleeve. Good kit and has the same fittings as the pauter lines.

I have the Pauer lines. I got them because of the fittings on the damper that don't exist on this planet. He evidently went to Jupiter to get them.
I have been making AN style lines for about 10 years, too.

Wow, this exact thing happened to me last week. I was in my driveway about to pull out when I saw a little smoke. Checked it out, there wasnt a fire going but the fuel line was leaking at the FPR and dripping near the exhaust. Way to close for comfort. For now I just cleaned up the end of the hose so it wouldnt leak, but am in the market for some SS lines. Anyone here make there own SS lines. I know that its a lot cheaper and can be done for roughly $50.

So are you saying that some of the fittings needed to make my own own SS setup would be imposible to find

The damper fitting is a stock aeroquip part number. Its an adaptor from the damper fitting to AN.
The same fittings are used on each end of the little jumper line as well.

If anyone wants to take on making a custom set just PM me and I will send you the part number.

Thumbs up

Lut, could we be a little less hoity-toity but he's right, how many owners carry an extinguisher?

My shameless setup includes compression fittings in the wheel well...

Does anyone have a good picture or description of how, exactly, the Pauerman lines attach at the factory hard lines in the fender well?

Also, on the FPR, how does this hose attach -- the FPR is set up for a hose clamp, is there some kind of adapter for these lines?

Travis - yes.
making it with an adapter then a 90 degree piece is easy(2 pieces).
The combination 90 degree/metric adapter(1 piece) is hard to get.

If you know of a female metric to AN 90 degree part, you have better eyes than I do.

Do you mean like the fitting I used on my damper to rail hose? You can get them from www.batinc.net.
