I am buying new tires for my '87 951. Have 17" wheels. Does anyone have the correct recomended sizes for tires front and rear? I don't have the owner's manual. I seem to get different answers from different sources. I currently have 215/45/ZR17 Fulda's on the front and 255/40/ZR17's on the rear. They were on there when I bought it. Handling seems fine.

Also, I'm probably going to get Bridgestones for the new tires. Either S02's or RE750's. Any opinions?

If you have 7.5 inchers up front, I would go to 225/45/17's. The rear size is fine. I've had experience with the RE750's, I liked them alot for the street, don't know about the track.
