Tech edge has had PDA support for a long time and has soe of the highest quality electronics. I like the fact it is reconfigurable and reprogrammable. I like that it can support just about anything but it is not for the "novice" as far as software goes.

They also just released a really nice 52mm round display.

IMO the gauge is useless , make sure to get a unit which has datalogging capabilities , hook it up to a laptop , use excel to graph , analyse and tune it from there.

No input on which is best, - I prefer a nice analog guage but the price seems high for this option, anyway is it time for another WB group buy when we are done?

I am having issues with my tech edge getting its calibration out of wack after a period of hard driving, eg PT and idle then start dithering around 19.x instead of 14.7. I know that andrew (nz951) had the same issue. So be wary of that. They have supplied me with a patch that i'm yet to try out.

Hey Guys, I've been in the market for one of these too. Count me in if a group buy takes place. I do have 1 question since my knowledge in this area is weak.

Once we know where our A/F ratio. How do we adjust it? What options do we have? Will the piggy back work?

I have the Zeitronix and I'm very happy with it. I also have the boost- and the egt-sensor. I only use the logging function when I'm tuning and I need a laptop to tune anyways.
It sure does a lot for a very resonable price.

I think the gauges are nice, but data-logging is a must, especially when you have all the other inputs hooked up. Otherwise they would do you no good.

I am definatly interested in a group buy as well.

Funny nobody has mentioned PLX Devices. The new R-300 & R-500 are pretty powerful units. I'm not sure how these compare in price to other WB units mentioned.

Do the Innovative ones have data logging? Their gauges are pretty nice.

Oh, also Tech edge has a great PC logger that graphs for like $20.

I also have an ETAS Lambda meter, the motec of WB meters. It is a lab grade meter that costs around $5,000. I got it for FREE. and it works. http://en.etasgroup.com/downloads/la4_fl.shtml
Just had to brag. Anyone want to trade some parts.

Yes - They do data log, I believe with the LC-1 + XD-1 kit you need a PC in the car to datalog, but with the LM-1 I am pretty sure it stores the data itself, so you can later download to a PC. But both with data log one way or another. correct me if I am wrong guys...

After all the dust settles I'm in on a group buy too. Do these things fit in a Christmas stocking?

BTW, have a laptop and I don't see myself buying a PDA.

PLX Devices
I own a R-500, I just need to finish my car to play with it. I have seen this unit in action, and I bought it on the spot.
