Default A-arm Front Bearings for Street Use ?

Are the control arm front spherical bearings, made by Racer's Edge, applicable for street use? I have heard from others that spherical bearings will wear excessively if exposed to wet weather or excessive road dust, dirt, etc and will become noisey. Any opinions?

I may opt. for the rubber bushings that Paragon sells as an alternative, but I gather that the spherical bearings offer better "road feel" (Turn-in response, Control, etc.)

Elephant Racing has front control arm bearings that are weather sealed. $250USD a pair. I have a set on my car, havent driven it yet. Some users of them have 20k miles on them and no problems.

I street drive my car with Fabcar arms and Elephant bearings and it is quite drivable. Just remeber to lube the bearings if you drive in the rain.
