Roger,
Beautiful ride! I bought mine 4 years ago with 68K on the clock. In those 4 years I have only put 15K on it with 2k driving it home to California from Chicago. Each mile I watched tick by with excruciating pain. Slowly as I follow what is going on with petroleum, my attitude has changed. No agency can tell for sure how much longer the oil reserves will last. I have heard experts speculate the reserves could expire in as short as 20 years. Some have said even less if the couple of billion people in china start buying cars. So now I have decided to use my car, while there is still fuel to put into it.

Congratulations on such a beautiful aquisition.

Roger, that's more help than you know! Of course I couldn't have come over here without my Excellence Mag, and BW has an ad in there somewhere - I totally forgot that he sold GT3 seats, I'll make the call. Thanks a bunch, and we're always safe...its just those other guys...

Don't feel bad. My dad's 87' 951 has 213,000 miles on it and is still going strong, and its never had any major engine work. Its driven daily and push hard on the weekends, and shows no signs of getting old.

The car in my avatar had 226K miles on it when I bought it, and I have added about 12k miles. It is the cleanest of the 4 951's I have owned, having spent most of it's life in sunny California. The sport seats are even in good shape, including the driver side bolster.

I know how you guys feel, my car had 66,000 on it when I bought it 3 yrs ago, now it has just about 90k. I love driving it and I came to the realization that I don't care about low mileage anymore. My friends car has 180k on the original turbo and engine. The car was running very strong until the tranny let go. That car was also driven very roughly, very durable cars if you keep up with them.
